Access Migration Tool

In Zoho Mail Admin Console, navigate to:

Migration → Email Migration → Add Migration

Select Source Platform

Choose Google Workspace (G Suite) as your source platform.

Important: Enable IMAP access in Google Workspace before starting migration.

Enable IMAP in Google Workspace

In Google Admin Console:

  1. Go to Apps → Google Workspace → Gmail → User Settings
  2. Select your organization

Create App Passwords

For accounts with 2-Step Verification, create app-specific passwords:

  1. Go to myaccount.google.com/apppasswords
  2. Select app: Mail, Select device: Other
  3. Name it "Zoho Migration" and generate password
  4. Save this password for migration setup

In Zoho's migration tool, enter the following:

IMAP Server: imap.gmail.com

Port: 993

Security: SSL/TLS

Zoho WorkDrive is the equivalent of Google Drive. You'll need a Zoho Workplace subscription to access WorkDrive.

Download from Google Drive

Use Google Takeout to download all Drive files:

  1. Go to takeout.google.com
  2. Deselect all, then select only Drive
  3. Choose file type and size, then Create export
  4. Download the archive when ready

Upload to Zoho WorkDrive

Extract the downloaded files and upload to Zoho WorkDrive:
